Saucisson – Classic French Dry-Cured Pork Sausage
Crafted from the finest free-range pork, this Saucisson is a sumptuous journey into rich, rustic flavour. Finely ground pork is artfully blended with salt, whole black peppercorns, and a splash of wine before being patiently dry-cured—allowing its robust taste profile to fully unfold.
Perfectly balanced and deeply aromatic, it is ideal for effortless gourmet enjoyment. Slice thinly and serve cold with a crusty baguette and a hearty wedge of our cheese, or elevate your next antipasto or charcuterie platter. It’s also a picnic must-have or a sophisticated snack on the go.
Note: Being a naturally produced product it varies in size around between 200 to 250g.

How the saucisson gets to you
At Alpine Express, we send all fresh products in eco-friendly, insulated cardboard boxes, carefully packed with recycled paper and kept chilled with food-grade gel ice packs. Because saucisson needs to stay dry, we wrap it in a loose vacuum seal for its journey. Once it arrives, remove it from the pouch, place it in a paper bag in your fridge, and let it rest for at least 24 hours — giving it time to return to its delicious best.
