Looking for something a little different from your typical part-time role?
At Alpine Express, we import and deliver some of the finest Swiss artisan cheeses in Australia — and we’re looking for a hands-on team member to help us prepare and pack our weekly online orders.
The Role
You’ll be working behind the scenes on our weekly dispatch runs (mainly Mondays), cutting, wrapping, and assembling customer orders with precision and care. Think of it as part cheesemonger, part logistics wizard.
Hours
Casual / part-time
Typically Mondays, approx. 8:30am – 2:00pm (depending on order volume)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cutting and portioning premium cheeses (yes, it’s as good as it sounds)
- Vacuum packing and wrapping orders to a high standard
- Assembling customer orders for dispatch
- Helping maintain a clean, organised workspace
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and detail-oriented — consistency is key
- Someone who enjoys working with their hands
- Willing to learn (we’ll teach you everything you need to know)
- Able to commit longer-term (not just a short stop-gap job)
- A genuine interest in food — bonus points if you love cheese
